Gaia Big Rubber Ballast with Integrated Mini Rail
The Gaia Big Rubber Ballast with Integrated Mini Rail is a replacement and expansion component for the 10° Self-Ballasted Mounting System. Perfect for modular system extensions, maintenance, or bespoke flat roof solar installations, this individual ballast unit allows installers to purchase only the components required without investing in a full mounting kit.
Manufactured from durable 100% recycled rubber, the ballast features an integrated mini rail for quick and secure solar panel installation. Its built-in 10° tilt angle is specifically designed to optimise south-facing solar PV systems, helping to maximise energy generation while maintaining a low-profile flat roof setup.
Suitable for flat roofs with a 0°–5° inclination, the Gaia ballast provides excellent stability without roof penetration. The anti-slip, vibration-absorbing base helps protect roofing membranes while ensuring long-term reliability in demanding environmental conditions.
