Slate Roof Mounting Brackets

Installing on slate roofs?
Check out the Roof Toof, now in stock at Midsummer! Quicker and less damaging than a traditional slate rip, it takes the frustration out of working with slate.

These robust stainless steel brackets are designed to secure mounting rails directly to the roof rafters and are specifically suited for slate roofs.

Each 6mm stainless steel bracket is fixed through a single slate into the rafter beneath. The slate above is then replaced to maintain a weathertight seal.
When the bracket sits close to the edge of the covering slate, we recommend fitting a lead soaker over the bracket to ensure complete waterproof protection.
